Smoke of the Dead

I honor Death by the name "Humo de Muerto" or smoke of the dead. When we use smoke medicine, we are burning dead plant matter. In using deer bone and feathers, I honor the dead animals via ritual. Seeing patients suffer in the hospital, allows me to walk alongside death, and understand we have much to live for. How will you spend your days before meeting Mother Death?
